The Cosplay of Denver Comic Con 2014

This article was originally published at DC Infinite on June 17, 2014.

This weekend intrepid DC Infinite reporter Chase Magnett traveled to Denver, Colorado for the third annual Denver Comic Con. Movie stars, artists, writers, and many other professionals helped to make it an exciting weekend, but the most exciting part of all was the collection of fans in attendance. An estimated 86,500 fans attended making it one of the largest conventions in the country. Together they represented some of the most passionate and fun loving people to ever be collected under a single roof. Nowhere was this more obvious than in the wonderful costumes on display throughout the Colorado Convention Center.

Chase spent Saturday talking with cosplayers and collecting photographs to share with fans at home. Please enjoy this small selection of the thousands of cosplays seen in Denver this last weekend.

About chasemagnett

Chase is a mild-mannered finance guy by day and a raving comics fan by night. He has been reading comics for more than half of his life (all 23 years of it). After graduating from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with degrees in Economics and English, he has continued to research comics while writing articles and reviews online. His favorite superhero is Superman and he'll accept no other answers. Don't ask about his favorite comic unless you're ready to spend a day discussing dozens of different titles.
